Vehicle Diagnostics
(Including Hybrid & Electric).
We have the technology and knowledge to diagnose electrical problems on the majority of vehicle brands. The technology installed in vehicles has massively advanced over the last decade and at AMP Electronics we have kept up with those advances, investing in training and software. In addition to electrical faults we are also specialists in electrical and mechanical faults on convertible roofs, both fabric and hard top.
Auto Electrical Repairs
We have a great depth of experience and knowledge in the nuts and bolts of wiring repair and wiring loom fabrication. Fault finding is one aspect of our job, making a long lasting quality repair is the other.
Programming, Upgrades & Retrofits
We have the tools and software to perform upgrades and programming on many vehicle brands. This means in many cases we can carry out retrofits to add features and options to a vehicle. Occasionally there are manufacturers software updates to rectify known issues and in many cases we can install these. Programming is required during the installation of many replacement electronic parts on modern vehicles, we can undertake this as needed.
Air Conditioning Service & Repairs
We carry out fault finding and repairs to air conditioning systems. We can fault find and re-gas both traditional R134a systems and also the new R1234yf systems. We are fully F-Gas accredited, a legal requirement for the handling of the gases used in air conditioning systems.

About.
Established in 2003 as a mobile business we quickly found that the rapidly changing technology in vehicles meant that it would be more efficient for us to be a workshop based business, so in 2005 we set up our base in Hertford and ceased the mobile operation. Since then we have become well known in the area as the go to company for vehicle electrical problems.
We work on a booking basis, and ask that vehicles are left with us for the day for diagnosis and repair. Unfortunately we are unable to offer any kind of while you wait service.
